Here is the most stripped out vehicle I have ever found at my local junkyard, any ideas what it once was?

Well it clearly was body on frame. If those are the doors that belong with it, I might say 80s American. Need more pics to narrow it down.

Caprice? Body on frame, SRA and look at the doors particularly near the A pillar where the mirrors go.

Could be, but it was deep in the import section and they are usually pretty good about segregating.

Pretty sure that's a Lambo, dude.

Body on frame is mainly a US thing though, well for the last decades that is.

Possibly an old 4x2 pickup truck of Japanese origin? Not sure, but the doors to me screamed pickup truck.

Could be, and then the options are pretty much endless..

On the basis that there aren't that many RWD Japanese trucks around, I googled Hilux chassis. Pics I found weren't great, but it looks like it might be:

It would be kind of appropriate if the unkillable truck even lives forever in a junkyard. There's an easy test next time you're there, to find out if it is a Hilux or not: see if it still starts...

Oh, and the doors look right, too:

Looks to me like you can see the space at the back of the door where the black bit is in this pic.

I think you may be right here, those doors do look correct

But look at how boxy the door frame is where windshield meets roof. Could be a Caprice, but not this generation. If those doors belong to that car.

If that's the case it probably wasn't stripped. It just rusted away.

I noticed that but everything else matches.Mirror on door, inset B pillar, and noticeable tumblehome which means it isn't a truck.

I totally agree that it's a Toyota Pickup. By the way, the name "Hilux" hasn't been used on trucks sold in North America for decades. "Pickup" was its proper model name in North America from '76 to '95, possibly why you had trouble finding pics. Anyway, the front crossmember with seven large and four smaller round holes gives it away. Here's an '85 4Runner frame :

And a '93 Pickup frame 's front crossmember:

Lastly, it's hard to see in your pic, but that looks like a Toyota rear axle. The diamond-shaped housing is pretty unique to Toyota axles(they also use 3rd members and thus have no rear cover):

See my reply to davedave1111. While these are 4WD 'Yotas, I think you've got a 2WD Toyota Pickup there.
